VirtualSC PD’s renewal course offerings are varied to meet the needs of every South Carolina educators. Choose from one of the four course types below!
Read to Succeed
VirtualSC PD offers a series of Read to Succeed courses, supporting the Read to Succeed Act 284 legislation for SC educators.
Facilitated Renewal Courses
VirtualSC PD’s facilitated renewal courses are 7-week courses that begin with an Orientation, and transition into a 6-week study, supported by an Online Facilitator for the duration of the course.
Self-Paced Renewal Courses
For the educator who needs to work completely on his/her time, VirtualSC PD offers self-paced renewal courses that you will have 60 consecutive days to complete–whenever, wherever.
Self-Paced South Carolina Teaching Standards 4.0 Rubric
VirtualSC PD offers self paced modules to support educators in The South Carolina Teaching Standards (SCTS) 4.0 rubric, which will be integrated into the Expanded ADEPT Support and Evaluation System beginning in 2018–19 for all classroom-based teachers in districts using the state model for teacher evaluation. These learning modules are worth 20 Renewal Credits.
